THE BRONX - A group of former Horace Mann students are urging officials at the school to open an alleged sexual abuse investigation.

More than 30 students say they were sexually assaulted at the school over the course of nearly 25 years at Horace Mann School.

At a press conference in Manhattan today, members of the group detailed their traumatic experiences, including alleged sexual assault by faculty members, and in some cases, rape.

The group is also calling on the state Legislature to pass the Markey bill, which would create a one-year window for child sex abuse victims to assert legal claims, despite the statute of limitations.
