ALBANY - (AP) - Former state Sen. Pedro Espada Jr. says he'sseeking a court order to block what he calls the Cuomoadministration's "political terrorism" aimed at closing his Bronxhealth clinic.

The state Health Department released a letter late Wednesdaysaying it would terminate Espada's Soundview clinic system from theMedicaid reimbursement program as of Sept. 12 because of concernsover its governance and its handling of millions of dollars inMedicaid funding.

Espada faces a federal trial in October on charges he misusedMedicaid funds to fund a lavish lifestyle.
