Ex-state Sen. Pedro Espanda's co-op up for sale

NORWOOD - The two-bedroom co-op that ex-state Sen. Pedro Espada owns and allegedly lived in is up for sale.

Espada has come under fire for allegedly living outside his district and for allegedly embezzling money from a charity he set up.

Neighbors say that Espada was rarely around and they say they never felt Espada actually lived in the co-op.

Residents of the area say they are glad to see him leave and are looking forward to a neighbor who actually wants to live there.
