MORRISANIA - Two fallen soldiers from The Bronx were honored today during the unveiling of a garden renovated in their names.

The newly renovated Charlton-Thompson Garden was named in honor of Sgt. Cornelius Charlton and Pfc. William Thompson, both of The Bronx, who died while serving in the Korean War.

Tucked away on East 164th Street in Morrisania, residents can find new walkways and park benches along with a flag pole with inscriptions detailing the stories of the Medal of Honor recipients.
