Family asks for help finding missing Bronx man

THE BRONX - An elderly Bronx man's family is asking for help finding him after it says he went missing late last month.

Julio Lopez's family says he lives at an assisted-living program on Findlay Avenue. His niece says he was last seen going to his daughter's baby shower on Jan. 25 and that no one realized he was missing until weeks later when he didn't pick up his Social Security checks.

Lopez is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall with salt-and-pepper hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Lopez's whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
