THE BRONX - One Bronx family is calling on the State Parks Department to increase the railing along the Harlem River after their 10-year-old son drowned over the weekend.

Officials say Ebrima Wally jumped over a guardrail before falling into the river, struggling to stay afloat. A wave from a passing boat struck Wally, causing him to go under.

The family hopes more guardrails will be constructed so accidents like Saturday's could be avoided.
