Family celebrates recovery of Sallie Adams, shot by stray bullet in the Bronx
THE BRONX - A family is celebrating the life and recovery of a woman who was hit by a stray bullet last week in the Bronx.
Sallie Adams was hit in the hand by the bullet while out running errands.
Adams will turn 80 years old tomorrow.

Her family says, along with celebrating her life, they are also thankful for the 49th Precinct.
Police made an arrest in the shooting that injured Adams, as well as two other victims.
