Family, friends mourn murdered Bronx nurse

THE BRONX - Family and friends are mourning the death of a Bronx nurse who police say was murdered recently.

Tina Adovasio, 40, was found in a wooded area off of the Taconic State Parkway. She was strangled and likely beaten, police say. Her estranged husband, Eddy Coello, has been named as a person of interest in the case. Coello has not been formally charged.

Funeral services for Adovasio were held at Saint John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac.
