THE BRONX - Loved ones are remembering 11-year-old Russell Smith who was accidentally struck and killed by an SUV yesterday.

Neighbors and friends held a prayer vigil at the spot where Smith was struck yesterday.

Police say the boy was struck near Grand Concourse and East 183rd Street. Witnesses say he was crossing the street when he was hit by an SUV. A police source told News 12 the boy may have crossed against the light.

The driver stayed at the scene. No criminality has been suspected.
