Family holds vigil for missing 11-year-old

(09/17/10) THE BRONX - Family and friends gathered tonight to pray for a missing 11-year-old Bronx girl.

Police say Sahara Boyd has been missing for three days. Police arrested Dawud McKelvin yesterday for allegedly sending lewd photos of his genitals to the girl.

Boyd's family says it is using every form of communication they can to spread the word of her disappearance. Her neighborhood is plastered with fliers featuring her photo and a BlackBerry Messenger chain letter is circulating.

According to police, Boyd was last seen leaving for school from her Balcome Avenue home early Tuesday morning.
