THE BRONX - Concerned family members say two Bronx teens have been missing since Thursday.

According to one girl's grandmother, 14-year-old Lia Mercado and 13-year-old Tiesha Jiminez were last seen in the pool area of Crotona Park last Thursday. Mercado usually attends summer school on Thursdays and then goes to the house of her grandmother, Laura Sanchez, in Castle Hill. Sanchez filed a police report when Mercado never arrived.

Sanchez and Jimienez's family say the two girls had recently been in trouble in school. Police urge anyone with information about either teen's whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
