Family members to visit scene of Bronx River Parkway crash

THE BRONX - The family of seven people killed in a crash on the Bronx River Parkway last week are being joined by taxi drivers today in surveying repairs being made to the roadway.

A van carrying Jacob Nunez and Ana Julia Martinez, who were visiting from the Dominican Republic; their daughters, Maria Gonzalez and Maria Nunez, and three grandchildren, ages 3, 7 and 10, went over the edge of the viaduct and fell into a ravine on the Bronx Zoo property.

Organizers tell News 12 The Bronx that they'll honk their horns seven times to remember the crash victims.
