Family of slain Bronx teen warns of donations scam

THE BRONX - The family of a Bronx teenager who was fatally shot at Haffen Park last week is warning people about a donations scam.

Loved ones of 14-year-old Kemar Brooks say that someone in the borough is asking for donations on their behalf, but they have no affiliation with them.

The medical examiner has ruled Brooks' death a homicide and no arrests have been made in the case.
