Family seeks answers after man is critically injured in hit-and-run

THE BRONX - The family of Curtis Loree is searching for answers as to why someone would leave him for dead after a hit-and-run accident last week.

Louree, a father of four, was critically injured and suffered brain injuries when he was struck on White Plains Road on Aug. 2 in the middle of the afternoon.

Police say they believe the vehicle responsible was a white Ford heading southbound.

Family members say they decided to come forward in the hopes that it will bring closure to their tragedy.
