THE BRONX - The family of a 22-year-old that was shot and killed on Sunday morning is now asking for justice.
Rafael Alam was shot in the back just after 6 a.m. near East 174th Street and Jerome Avenue. Alam's mother, Rosie, says that he was a great son who never got into any trouble.
He worked at a maintenance company in the borough. Alam reportedly met up with two of his friends right after work but never returned home.

Police say Alam was sitting in the front passenger seat of a vehicle and talking to a woman when the woman's brother approached and shot him. Alam's family says the woman never got inside the car and that she was talking to him from outside the vehicle.
Authorities are looking for four suspects in the case, but no arrests have been made. Alam's mother is pleading for those responsible to come forward.
