THE BRONX - The borough's famous Bazzini nut company is relocating from Hunts Point, likely leaving some Bronx workers without a job.

The company's CEO, Rocco Damato, says that every employee has been offered a job at the new manufacturing plant in Allentown, Pa., but that he expects about 30 workers to stay behind. Administrators and truck drivers will continue to work locally.

Damato says that tougher food safety laws have forced the move to a new state-of-the-art plant. He also plans to talk to whoever takes over the space to see that his employees who opt not to relocate are considered for any open positions.
