Father of slain Truman football star due in court

The father of a Truman High School football star stabbed to death last June is due back in court today. Andre Muller is facing murder

THE BRONX - The father of a Truman High School football star stabbed to death last June is due back in court today.

Andre Muller is facing murder and assault charges in connection with the death of his son, Isayah. The teenager was killed hours after his graduation when he tried to break up a fight between his dad and two Bronx parking attendants.

Muller and his lawyers say the attendants stole Isayah's graduation present from his car and instigated the fight, but prosecutors have argued that surveillance video clearly shows it was Muller who started the argument.
