FBI arrests man for allegedly selling explosives in BX

THE BRONX - Officials say the FBI arrested a man today who is suspected of selling explosives in a popular Bronx shopping plaza.

An FBI spokesperson says 37-year-old Nicholas Lagnier was arrested while attempting to make a sale.

The spokesperson says the FBI's special agent bomb technicians will go through two containers worth of dynamite-like materials.

The FBI does not believe the incident is terrorism related, according to the spokesperson.
