FBI: Suspicious package at JFK Airport not a threat

NEW YORK - The FBI says that a suspicious package that was investigated at John F. Kennedy International Airport was not a threat.

According to DHL, the package did originate in Yemen and had been held at their facility since Friday due to a TSA requirement.

New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne says the package contained a cell phone and paperwork.

Officials say the package was investigated "out of an abundance of caution."
