Feds indict 16 in BX drug ring bust

THE BRONX - U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara says 16 people have been indicted after authorities busted a cocaine ring operating out of the Bronx.

Bharara says at least five kilograms of cocaine was found in the raid. Each suspect could receive a minimum sentence of 10 years.

The ring was called the "4040Organization" because it operated out of 4040 Bronx Blvd, according to prosecutors. They said the ring distributed cocaine in the Bronx, Yonkers and elsewhere.
