Felines rescued from Co-op City apartment need new homes

CO-OP CITY - Several cats rescued from a Co-op City apartment when their owner's health issues forced her to move out are looking for new homes.

Three kittens and 18 cats are up for adoption. If the animals don't find homes by next Sunday, the Bronx Veterinary Center will be forced to put them to sleep.

The director of the rescue program says there is no longer enough space to keep them.

For more information about adoption call 917-557-7816.
