Fire breaks out in apartment building on Park Avenue in Concourse Village

Fire officials are investigating a blaze that broke out in a high-rise building in Concourse Village Saturday morning. The fire started inside the 23-story apartment

THE BRONX - Fire officials are investigating a blaze that broke out in a high-rise building in Concourse Village Saturday morning.

The fire started inside the 23-story apartment building on Park Avenue just after 7 a.m. Investigators say it was contained to one apartment on the 16th floor.

One person was seriously injured and taken to Jacobi Medical Center.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
