THROGGS NECK - A two-alarm fire damaged multiple homes in Throggs Neck Sunday evening.

Firefighters say they got the 911 call reporting the fire at around 5:45 p.m. The fire quickly spread to multiple houses as residents ran to safety.

Officials say of the seven homes that caught fire, at least three have been destroyed.

All residents managed to escape and no one was injured.
