THE BRONX - A fire damaged a grocery store early this morning on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx.

A Bravo Supermarket employee says he was using the bathroom in the basement when he came out and was surrounded by smoke. He ran upstairs to alert his coworkers and everyone managed to escape without injury.

While the fire was contained to the basement, the owner says all of the supermarket's food will have to be thrown out. The supermarket will also be closed while they restock.
