THE BRONX - A fire broke out at a Bronx bar Monday, according to officials.

The FDNY responded to a call of smoke inside the EVO Lounge on Unionport Road around 9 a.m.

Fire officials say the bar, which is located near an elevated subway platform and a dance studio, will have to be closed because it was damaged during the fire.

Officials say the dance studio was not damaged and will remain open.

No injuries were reported, and they say they are still investigating what caused the fire.
