MOTT HAVEN - A fire broke out at a vacant Mott Haven apartment building Tuesday evening.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly, but neighbors say this is not the first time a fire has been reported in the same area.

News 12 was told that no one was hurt and no one was inside the building at the time.

The owner says people have broken into the building in the past.

A neighboring gas station owner says that not too long ago, a body was found inside the building.
