THE BRONX - An early morning fire knocked out electricity for some residents in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx.

The flames destroyed the interior of a front porch on East 217th Street, but tenants say the rest of the home was untouched.

One resident of the building says he thinks a kitchen appliance started the blaze.

No one was seriously hurt.
