Firefighter 'raps' with students about safety

THE BRONX - Dubbed 'El Rapero Bombero,' Lt. Angel Crespo, of the Puerto Rico Fire Department, came to the Bronx yesterday to show off his musical talent to children.

Crespo tours the country performing a rap to children about fire safety procedures. He spoke to children in the Bronx as part of the kickoff to fire prevention week in New York.

Crespo sings in Spanish giving children tips such as stay low and crawl out. Students he spoke to yesterday say they got the message.
