Firefighters battle 3-alarm fire on Bathgate Avenue

THE BRONX - Firefighters were on the scene of a massive three-alarm fire on Bathgate Avenue for several hours today.

EMS crews say the fire started at around 7:30 p.m. in a vacant building at 1904 Bathgate Ave.

Several people who saw the fire say flames were shooting out of the building.

Fire officials say they are now investigating the cause of the fire. Officials say there were no injuries.
