UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS - The New York City Christian Athletic League is hosting its sports program for the second year in a row to keep kids off the streets, as well as to help them develop character.

The not-for-profit organization is based out of Harris Field in University Heights, which is where the games are played every Saturday.

It costs each player $25 to play for nine weeks, and most of that money is donated back into the community.

The League is currently hosting a flag football program, and a basketball league will begin in the spring.
