Flames rip through BX grocery store

THE BRONX - A fire ripped through a grocery store in The Bronx this morning, prompting evacuations in the area.EMS officials say flames broke out at the Grand Deli and Grocery on Grand Avenue, near Buchanan Place. News 12 The Bronx was at the scene as firefighters worked to clean up after the fire.A residential apartment above the store had to be evacuated. One neighbor says he woke up to a loud explosion and then saw smoke.EMS says no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
