THE BRONX - Throgs Neck residents say severe flooding from Tropical Storm Irene had them literally swimming around.

The storm swept through the city overnight into Sunday causing damage to many low-lying areas. Residents say their cars and basements had water damage this morning.

Residents say they are thankful the storm did not do any major damage.
