THE BRONX - The Fordham University football team fielded questions from the media at the Patriot League Media Day in Bethlehem, Pa. Wednesday.

The team is entering its 125th season. Coach Tom Masella is beginning his second year leading the players. While past seasons haven't been so victorious, Masella has high hopes for this year.

"We want to see improvement ... We want to see more wins," Masella said. "I believe we will have some freshmen come in and create competition and hopefully create an impact on our season."

Fordham, ranked sixth in the preseason poll by coaches and insiders, will take on Rhode Island September 1.
