THE BRONX - Fordham Plaza and its surrounding streets reconstruction is creating confusion for travelers after five months of repair work.

There are now two select bus service routes running through the area, and police officers are present to ease traffic congestion as well as help pedestrians cross the busy intersections safely.

Bus routes are able to pass through with the exception of the Bx15, which is being detoured.

Fordham residents tell News 12 The Bronx that they are happy with the progress of the plaza repairs. The project is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2014.
