THE BRONX - The CHSAA baseball season has come to an end and Bronx teams have plenty to celebrate.

Fordham Prep claimed the Division AA title after taking out rival Iona Prep, but the Rams have even more to celebrate. Shortstop Andrew Velazquez became the school's first-ever player to be selected in the MLB draft. He was taken in the seventh round by Arizona.

Saint Raymond also had a surprise break-out season, winning the Bronx-Manhattan division.
