Fordham Prep falls to Chaminade in CHSAA semis

THE BRONX - Fresh off a win against St. Francis Prep, Fordham Prep was looking for another win against Chaminade in the state CHSAA boys soccer semi-finals.

The Baby Rams lost to Chaminade in the state finals last year, so the team was looking to forget the bad memories of that game. However, even with goaltender Ryan Mersa, the team fell again to Chaminade.

Mersa managed to block all attempts throughout two halves and overtime. However, Chaminade scored in the second overtime and beat the Baby Rams 1-0.
