CITY ISLAND - Students on the Fordham University sailing team are helping rebuild parts of City Island ravaged by Hurricane Sandy.

About 20 students are cleaning up Sailmaker Marina, a 14-year-old facility that suffered dock and boat damage when the storm hit. The students have been there twice this week, giving the owners a break from the arduous recovery process.

The sailing team has docked one of their boats at the marina for the past five years.
