THE BRONX - The Department of Education's free lunch program will be feeding children throughout the summer, with food trucks appearing at many locations around the borough.

The meal program received a donation of $250,000 from Wal-Mart this year, making it possible for food trucks to provide lunch for children at Orchard Beach five days a week. The free lunches are available throughout the borough at schools, swimming pools, and parks until Sept. 2.

Children under the age of 18 are eligible for free meals every weekday. For a list of locations and more information, or call 311.
