Free summer programs abound for kids across The Bronx

THE BRONX - The City Parks Foundation is offering free programs for kids around the borough, including golf, tennis and track and field lessons.

Sports and fitness program manager Michael Lippert says that all equipment is provided. Parents can simply show up with their kids at any lesson to sign them up. Golf lessons can be signed up online.

The City Parks Foundation and Head Penn are even offering a 15-percent discount for tennis participants to get their first tennis racquet.

Additionally, the foundation is offering many free summer concerts citywide, including several in The Bronx.
