Community garden volunteers say that for them, every day is Earth Day.

THE BRONX - Volunteers were hard at work helping to make the Bronx a little greener this Earth Day.

A free carpenter workshop was held at the Padre Plaza Success Garden on 139th Street, just one of dozens of other community gardens in the borough.

Organizers say they are always busy planting flowers and vegetables, and that for them, every day is Earth Day.
