THE BRONX - In anticipation of federal immigration reform, New York City is getting ready for challenges undocumented immigrants may face.

New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, The New York Immigration Coalition and immigration advocacy groups have announced a series of free workshops that will be offered to immigrants.

The goal of the workshops is to teach immigrants how to better protect themselves from scams.

The exact times and dates of the workshops are not yet known, but they are expected to start sometime in the next two weeks.
