Friends of slain teen point fingers at local man

THE BRONX - One day after the murder of Justin McWillis, his friends are claiming they know who the killer is.

McWillis, 18, was shot to death Jan. 18 on Vyse Avenue right in front of his friends, police say. The kids claim a neighbor known only as ?Pablo? and his sister are responsible. Witnesses say McWillis and Pablo exchanged words the night before the shooting. People in the neighborhood are calling it a case of "senseless violence."

?You couldn't say anything bad [about Justin],? said Cynthia Thompson, the mother of one of McWillis? friends. ?He always had a smile, a laugh; a guy to give you advice when you needed it.?

No arrests have been made yet in this ongoing investigation.
