Friends, teammates gather to remember slain football star

THE BRONX - Classmates, teammates, friends and faculty gathered this afternoon on the football field at Truman High School to remember Isayah Muller, who was killed yesterday during an argument just after he had graduated from the high school.

Muller was remembered not only for leading the team to a Public School Athletic League championship last fall, but for his charismatic smile and cool demeanor on the field and in the school's hallways.

Those at the vigil outlined his number, "21," in candles on the field while his teammates promised to carry on his legacy on the field and support his family in their time of mourning.
