THE BRONX - Full service has resumed on the Metro-North New Haven line.

The failure of a Con Edison feeder cable on Sept. 25 knocked out train service in an eight-mile section.

The outage caused major commuting delays, forcing Metro-North to provide free shuttle service to its customers.
