Funeral held for slain Truman H.S. student in NYC

THE BRONX - Family, friends, and football teammates gathered at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Manhattan this morning to say goodbye to 19-year-old Isayah Muller, who was killed only hours after he graduated from Truman High School.

At the funeral, Muller's football coach John Shepherd described him as an inspiration to his teammates who was always willing to help others.

Muller, a star football player for Truman High school, was stabbed to death last week after his father got into an altercation with a parking attendant, whom he accused of stealing from him.

Muller?s father was the only person who has been charged in the attack, and family members say he can't grasp that his only son is gone.

Muller was supposed to start college in the fall, and his parents are expecting twins, due later this year. Following the funeral, Muller was buried at St. Raymond's Cemetery in The Bronx.
