Future scientists get new digs at Lehman College

THE BRONX - The next generation of scientists at Lehman College now have a new science building to call home.

The multimillion-dollar state-of the-art science research building opened today. Officials and administrators showed off the new digs during a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The complex will house dozens of research labs for Bronx high school students who want to get into the science field. Lehman College will also reach out to kids as young as five to get them interested in becoming scientists and researchers.
