THE BRONX - Tenants at 825 Gerard Ave. are demanding changes be made to their apartment building.

The tenants say they've been living in "deplorable conditions" for years. They say the building is dangerous, riddled with mold and collapsing ceilings.

"Somebody came to look at the window and it's ready to fall off," Carmen Hernandez says. "It's not only a danger to me, but also to the people outside."

Tenants say they're calling on the landlord to make drastic changes.

News 12 reached out to the building's management but has not heard back.
