CO-OP CITY - A family is in mourning after a grandmother was struck and killed by an MTA bus in Co-op City Friday night.

Gloria Mabry, 74, was struck on Co-op City Boulevard and Dreiser Loop Friday night while trying to cross the street.

Her son Reginald says she was on the way home from the supermarket and was pushing a cart of groceries. He says he wants to know how fast the bus driver was going.

Mabry leaves behind three adult children and a grandchild. Funeral arrangements are pending.
