THE BRONX - GMC is recalling nearly 119,000 Chevrolet Colorados and GMC Canyons due to a defect that causes the hood to pop open and block the driver's view while moving.
 
Owners can take their vehicles to a dealer to see if there is a secondary latch, or to have a new hood installed.
 
GM says the defect affects models from 2010 to 2012.
