Grand Ave. shooting leaves 3 wounded

THE BRONX - Police are searching for the gunman who opened fire on Grand Avenue last night, injuring three people, including a 5-year-old boy. Witnesses say a man carried the wounded child several blocks away to a nearby hospital. According to police, a 30-year-old man was also shot. It remains unknown if the two victims had any relation to one another. A third person at the scene was grazed by a bullet but refused medical attention. The boy and the 30-year-old man were taken to Saint Barnabas Hospital to be treated for leg wounds. They are expected to recover. So far, no arrests have been made and the cause of the shooting remains unknown. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
